meet your new home neighbor

Welcome to New Home Neighbor! Rachael Baine, the CEO and Founder of New Home Neighbor, is a dedicated professional with over a decade of experience in the homebuilding industry. Her career journey has equipped her with valuable insights into the importance of collaboration, customer relationship management, and education in empowering buyers, realtors, and builders alike. In her most recent role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a respected home builder in Central Texas, she led her team to noteworthy achievements, rising from an unranked division to the #2 ranked division out of 170 teams nationwide in “Purchase Experience” within just one year.

Before stepping into a leadership role, she thrived as a New Home Consultant, guiding hundreds of families through the homebuying process while maintaining a customer satisfaction rating exceeding 90%. Her work centered on bridging the trust gap between homebuyers and builders. She even stepped into the position of Construction Manager in between her communities closing out and new ones opening up. Her efforts earned a spot as a finalist for On-Site Person of the Year in 2020 through the MAX Awards, as well as the title of Top New Home Consultant of the Year in 2018, 2020, and 2021 with the Austin division.

Her passion for real estate runs deep, stemming from her formative years spent assisting her father, a longtime Sales Consultant, in the homebuilding sector. With a BBA from UT Austin's McCombs School of Business and an MBA from St. Edward's University, she has a strong educational foundation that underpins her professional endeavors. She purchased her first home in Austin at the age of 25, solidifying her commitment to financial independence and a love for real estate investment. Over the years, she’s invested in several single-family homes in the Central Texas area to grow her portfolio.

She’s happily married to her best friend, and they share their lives with two beloved dogs—one a certified therapy dog and the other a grumpy couch potato. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing flag football, and hosting dinner parties, all of which keep her connected to her vibrant community.

why choose new home neighbor:

In the competitive landscape of the Texas homebuilding industry, establishing trust and effective communication is essential. Research from PwC highlights that trust has become the new business currency, impacting customer loyalty and satisfaction. Wick Marketing notes a significant trust gap between homebuyers and builders, emphasizing the need for collaboration and transparency. Furthermore, The Builders Daily emphasizes that transparency throughout the homebuying process is crucial, especially for first-time buyers navigating the market.

At New Home Neighbor, we are committed to addressing these challenges by leveraging our expertise in sales, strategy, and customer relationship management. By fostering open dialogue and collaborative relationships among builders, developers, and realtors, we aim to enhance the overall homebuying experience through hands-on engagement in the field. Our goal is to build lasting partnerships that elevate the new home industry in Texas.

Resources:

To us, a neighbor is someone who provides a network of support and services in both good times and challenging moments. Growing up in Houston, Rachael experienced her fair share of hurricanes and tropical storms. During those storms, neighbors came together, hosting grill-outs on driveways as they shared food, helped each other clear fallen trees, and exchanged flashlights and generators. Those tough times led to bright moments of connection, forging a tight-knit community.

Now, in Austin, she carries that spirit forward. In her neighborhood, they look after each other’s pets when travelling, shoot hoops with each other’s kids, and share resources. While she hasn’t yet borrowed a cup of sugar, she’s definitely asked for eggs and has happily shared electrical tools in return.

At New Home Neighbor, we strive to embody that same neighborly spirit, fostering connections and support in the new home industry.
